Hi. My Mac's hard drive crashed in December; before that I had no problem playing .avi files. Now most of the data is recovered, and I have the latest QuickTime (7.4) running on OK X 10.4.11, so Tiger, not the latest Leopard. I've downloaded the latest xvid codec, but all .avi files run really jerky...
