I think she is gone from HSN.Her picture is gone from the host page.

One of the answers to "who are the new HSN hosts replacing?" has been answered.....Alicia's not listed with the hosts, not on the schedule, and her HSN FACEBOOK page has been removed.

Her TWITTER page still says "Alicia Perez HSN" http://twitter.com/#!/aliciaperezhsn, but its pretty clear she's outta there.

She did "Favorite" her hot miniskirt video from last August, and linked it....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H8g-D3bzl4&feature=share ......how cool is that!

And she also posted this short video as a parting shot (of sorts).....also found on her YouTube channel.



She'll surface somewhere.......hopefully sooner than later.

How about that! 20 years of service (more or less) and she vanishes like Henry Hill going into witness protection.

What a shame. :Tantrum If you ask me, Alicia was never treated fairly by HSN. Even after being there for years and "paying her dues" on the graveyard shift, she was never given a shot at a better timeslot or promoted. Why? Was Alicia a bad host or unlikeable? No. Poor sales when compared to other hosts? I doubt it. Was she held back by the ladies on the messageboards who are threatened by her sex appeal? Probably! Seems like other HSN hosts with less seniority got pushed over Alicia. :( If any other shopping channel was smart, they snatch up Ms. Perez in a hurry. Go get'em girl! :Victory

Right.....but if you go to the main HSN Facebook page her picture is gone, link to that page is no more, as well as her picture and bio at the HSN website.....and her name on the schedule has been replaced by that of several other people, mainly the newbies.

I have the feeling HSN is a lousy place to work for.

They seem to burn through a lot of hosts very quickly. Lots of turnover. Judy Crowell didn't stay very long there. And I'm sure it wasn't a numbers issue with her.

I'm sure Alicia wanted to move on to a better place. Somewhere she would be recognized and rewarded for her effort. I doubt that's HSN.

Unlike QVC, HSN doesn't seem to do "Send-Offs" or "Farewell Parties" for their long-time hosts.

"Classy" and HSN probably do not belong together in the same sentence. To me, they seem like they have this "garage-sale" mentality with their stock. Cheesy guests, etc. Just basically cheap, common-denominator. Shoes, jewelery 95% of the time. Haircare, blah, blah, blah... repeat.

QVC at least tries to come up with innovative twists and new segments every so often. HSN is like cookie-cutter "old-lady" let's whip out that cc: and dial.

:cry: Alicia is amazing, so sad to hear this news. I guess Chris' day had come and gone but it's still sad to see one of the "classic" hosts go. :cry:

For both of them. While I knew some of the old hosts were going since they hired 3 new ones I thought we'd at least know who was leaving before hand and they'd make a final host presentation.

Looks like they wanted to replace Alicia with another Latin hottie.. Lesley Machado... So far she's been impressive.. but keeping it conservative. I hate to see Alicia go but nothing lasts forever.. Atleast the new hosts have potential. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.. duum dumm dummm ;)
