Every Friday, Brandon Contes from the popular sports media site got what Andrew Marchand said in his former podcast co-hosting alongside John Ourand as "The Big Get."
The over hour long podcast (recorded this past Tuesday) starts with how Scoop City came to be organically speaking (one hint--it is much harder when you have a team around you, instead of doing it solo or having a friend via Zoom.)
The most critical points are from the 10 minute to around the 31 minute mark on why she left ESPN, how the offer from
The Athletic offer was better in terms of how she gets better scoops (and still have the freedom to appear on other podcasts, like Ryan Rusillo, Colin Cowherd's show on FS1, and Pat McAffee during the third hour on YouTube).
And she tried to dance around the question of Jets fans and why the information she shares does not resonate well with their team and at least are respectable on what she does--on top of being married and having two very young kids.
There was also a mini-scoop Brandon shared with Dianna about the interview Aaron Rodgers did with Gio and Boomer on WFAN Radio shortly after they started their recording. Basically, for those who didn't hear what he said, it was not as tense as it was last year when Rodgers was stuck in traffic and felt like he did not want to be answering questions, etc.
