Popular meteorologist at ABC7/WLS in Chicago, Cheryl recently posted on her Instagram that she is pregnant.

To those who are wondering, yes she and Terrell Brown did record their New Year's Eve dance in early October. The 2025 theme is "Midnight Magic". Think 1950's era sock hop.

With the surprisingly mild weather that the Midwest experienced up until this past Wednesday night (November 20), at least they managed to get it in and hopefully it turns out great on New Year's Eve.

Also of note in October, she also picked up a few Midwest Emmy Awards along the way:
Won a 6th Emmy for the "Countdown Chicago NYE Show", plus what she called "a big win" during coverage of the tragic July 2023 summer tornado outbreak. She and the weather team was also nominated for coverage of the solar eclipse.

Wishing her lots of luck in hoping to bring someone new into the world sometime during the spring in 2025.
