I'm reading Andrea's book now, and in the first 25 pages she talks all about how women hold other women back in the workplace. She quotes a study which said that roughly 950 out of 1000 women surveyed said that another woman had a negative effect on their career.

I guarantee you that whoever is keeping her off TV right now, its another woman.

I think on page 93 she refers to her seat on TV as "the leg chair." She also added that growing up she competed in 10 years of gymnastics and 12 years of dance competitions, so I guess we know how she got thems legs.

I get the distinct impression if there is a guy out there man enough, someone is going to be well and truly lucky indeed to be married to such a strong woman who also understands the proper relationship and interaction between men and women in order to pull off a successful relationship. In a way, this book is an insight on how to date and win over Andrea Tantaros and women like her. Its fascinating. Plus, if she ever does have kids she is going to be a momma bear. No harm will ever come to those kids, I'm sure of it.

Is she still dating Dave Narravo? Anyway, I'm surprise that Fox News is still keep her for the moment and paying her. They could just cut ties right now and save money. Heck, Fox Sports Florida remove a reporter for racist comments.

If she was fired she could sue and get the $$$ anyway, so why not pay her until her contract runs out

That's probably what this is at this point. I remember when Alex Wagner lost her show and she would pop up once in a blue moon in a segment on another show but they didn't do anything concrete with her...they were just waiting out her contract. I think the conventional wisdom is don't let your viewers miss the person you are about to cut loose.

Plan A; she's long gone back to Pa busing tables in the family restaurant. she may be back somewhere unless she's untouchable/unwanted then it's back to Plan A.

I know it's done in contract dispute/renewal situations like this may be,
but it's absurd. You've got someone with an established presence on a program,
and then they just stop showing up without explanation -- how
exactly is that something they'd think nobody would notice the longer it drags on?
Obviously some legalese/consultant notion that viewers are that stupid.

Be upfront, even if it's just a one-time carefully worded statement. Acknowledge somebody's
gone, if it's not determined if they're coming back, then just say:
"_____ is not on air with us at this time while things are being decided on both sides, and
we don't know yet how this might be resolved. When appropriate, we will let you know."

Simple as that.

Looking like she might be gone for good at this point. Think if you wanna have something to remember her by might need to make like a Andrea Tantaros video disc or something full of clips while I can still find them....here and on youtube.

I'm sure she do something besides busing table at her family's restaurant plus I her family would put as assistant manager or something. I doubt they would get her to bus tables.

I wasn't talking about press releases (Fox already did that, as vague as it was) - it seems that when a network has decided to cut talent loose that they don't keep that person on the air while that person is still under contract. If I were the CEO my first reaction would be - why are we paying this person for doing nothing? But in the end they figure it's better to move on as quickly as possible.

I agree that it would be nice if Fox were to let people know what's going on but Fox does have a habit of keeping internal stuff like this quiet unless they are getting bad press in which case they will put something out that puts themselves in the best light. Remember how they announced the firing of Bob Beckel?

Andrea was VP for a public affairs firm, and she has worked for governors and congressmen. If she is off TV she could go back to doing those things. Don't be shocked if she ends up working for Trump, either. She could very well become the next White House press secretary.

I am on page 218. Andrea discusses the interaction she has with "fans" on social media -- she sees all the disgusting comments that guys make about the things they want to do to her.

However, she and her friends are highly entertained by the videos that guys make of her and other Fox ladies crossing and uncrossing their legs in slo-mo. And she considers a lot of the guys who make videos like that to be nice guys.

She also thinks its crazy that a lot of the guys who tweet gross things at her do not even do so from a fake name or profile -- they do it brazenly -- which she includes in the chapter on how certain aspects of social media are messing up our culture, etc.

She does have a good head on her shoulders so this does not sound far from the truth.

Nah I can't see Hillary hiring her.
