Truly under-appreciated.

Hope "the future is as bright" is as her tweet means it to be.

I saw that coming. In fact I wondered about her just last Month and figured she was leaving. But she actually popped back up the last three weeks. She did some updates and anchored a little. But her shift was taken over by Arias this year on HLN and with Kyra's show starting and later expanded to two hours the shifts to anchor were non existent. In fact I figured she would be let go in 2011 when several off camera personnel were fired at HLN. She lasted a while under these circumstances. Last year she basically was stuck anchoring one hour a day with Vinny Politano having taken an hour of her shift. So this was no shock. Still sad though. Felt like Kathleen Kennedy, Sophia Choi, Virginia Cha and Catherine Calloway. You could see the writing on the wall..

it seems to me that HLN is all about court cases and not so much about news.

I hope Richelle's new job is one that truly showcases her

The only shock is that it didn't happen sooner with HLN becoming Court TV. Susan will probably go next...

I was wondering about this and also about Susan when News Now became about the Arias trial or all Galanos, all the time. Now Galanos is on even earlier, with the Zimmerman trial being in a different time zone and starting earlier.

I think Susan is safe (for now). She fills in for Vinnie and/or co-host Evening Express. Plus isn't Natasha going to be on leave soon (with her second kid).
