Chatter is ramping up that Katie's talk show won't make it through the season, due to
ratings and her dissatisfaction with it, and that ABC may bring her on board to The View to gradually take over
for Barbara Walters, who leaves next May.

Walters denies this is being planned; but then she also originally denied Hasselbeck's departure and her own retirement,
