She'll probably be the morning host replacing Kate Bolduan since reports say Chris Coumo doesn't want her as cohost

I just hope she doesn't end up like Kiran in a few years, gone.

Wouldn't doubt it though it should be Chris that should go, someday he will. Congrats to Alisyn.

Seen yesterday that Alysin is going to CNN. And supposedly she is happy to be going. Leaves a person a little wonderment.

Alysin is a great person but to go from a #1 network to a non factor network doesn't really make sense to me. Especially when they put a "to be continued teaser" in permanent role at a later time in her contract.

I wish her the best.

1. There is more to life than ratings.
2. CNN is hardly a non-factor in the news business.

It makes sense if you thought you were going to get the F&F job and Fox hired Elisabeth Hasselbeck instead ;)

I never understood that move by FNC I haven't watched F&F's or F&FW's since. EH does nothing for me and she is tedious to listen to, she is the typical "talking head, she reads good". Sorry guys EH is not anywhere near the top of my lists.

FNC went for name recognition and star power
It did the same thing in 2007 when it chose Gretchen, who had worked at CBS and was a former Miss America, to host F&F and bypassed Kiran

Post subject:  Re: Alisyn Camerota Joins CNN - Primetime Show?

Great news for Alisyn - she taped a pilot for a primetime show with Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo!!!
http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/201 ... 92266.html

Quote:
CNN is testing out a new show with Alisyn Camerota, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon, POLITICO has learned.

On Wednesday, the three anchors taped a pilot dubbed "The 10 o’clock Show,” based out of New York, network sources said. It's not clear whether it would be a potential primetime 10 p.m. show.

Segments included one on the border crisis with "Crossfire" host S.E. Cupp and Democratic consultant Fernando Amandi and one called “Mean Tweets,” where the three anchors read mean tweets about themselves.

On Monday, CNN announced it had hired Camerota, who had previously been with Fox News for more than a decade. The network did not specify a role for her, saying only that she will "contribute to all programs across CNN" and that a permanent role would be announced in the coming months.

CNN did not respond to requests for comment.
