Wide World of Women :: View topic - FBN:AM adds table, loses Nicole

sparty and all the various other dudes on this post, this is just the latest episode in the rapid demise of FNC/FBN. Between FOX losing a good chunk of their stable and several of their shows and anchors slowly back pedaling on their leg-game, FOX is in trouble. The main reason dudes watch FOX other than the hard core right are for the legs. Nicole was one of the last sure fire guaranteed leg shows each and every day. It's no secret that as soon as Ainsley left F&F First and Heather figured out how to sit on the edge of the stool F&F First became unwatchable. At least that aleviated the need for channel swapping and crowned Nicole and to a lesser extent Lauren Simonetti as the early morning leg queens. But now, just as an earlier dude posted in this thread, if Nicole is indeed gone and they've inserted a desk, FBNAM is now useless. Being a business dude myself, I enjoyed the combination of sexiness and intelligence that FBNAM brought to the table but now my TV set will be permanently affixed to Bloomberg for all my business needs. May as well remove FBN from the viewable channels list in the Direct TV guide. I don't want to go on a rant regarding FOX but ever since Gretchen and the begining of the mass exodus, it's been all down hill. Even a show like Outnumbered that was once the hottest show on the dial is now mired in the swamp of mediocrity with the only standout being Sandra (save her conservative left over right leg cross) and occassionally Harris when she decides NOT to wear hose. I guess once all the ish hit the fan combined with 20th Century FOX bidding to buy Sky News Network things had to change. It is indeed a new day.

This only have me wondering if she's soon to be the next Fox castoff, as I still remember the article she did which she praised Ailes. Figuring it was only matter of time until FBN started to be impacted. I predict Dobbs (like Hannity) plus Kennedy could be the most vulnerable collateral damage because of increased ratings means increased attention from certain groups, which the Murdoch sons will oblige because they value Sky News and the Sky Network more than they do FBN/FNC.

It looks like Nicole is off FBN:AM She has been on the floor of the NYSE the last two days Cheryl Casone has hosted FBN:AM with Lauren Simonetti both days Nicole also posted this collage on FB and Twitter that sure seems like a goodbye I just wasted 50 minutes of my life waiting for Varney to go to the NYSE so i could confirm this After all, it's only a business channel But I got it confirmed when I just saw a promo for FBN:AM featuring Cheryl and Lauren Nicole is off the show BTW, Cavuto finally had a report from the floor by Nicole

Longtime fans of FBN clearly remember Nicole reported from the NYSE from the start in October 2007 until the last massive changes to the programming lineup in June 2015. Basically, Nicole is back doing what she did before. But the above points are very well taken--how many people are actually watching that early morning show?

Nothing against Cheryl. Shes nice and sexy too but losing Nicole and gaining a freaking table sure put the skids on the last real leggy enjoyment at the FOX studio. Sad so sad.

not sure why you guys mad about desk. based on what happen with fox over past year. and with main person gone. people get to use what they want to use and not what he want too. also we do not know if any of girls where not conferrable with way they dress and and having to sit with no table. we need to let ladies pick and choice what they want to do not what someone else wanted them to do. remember this it station job to get stories out and tell good story. not show off ladies.

IIRC, they had a table when FBN:AM started Nicole and Lauren sat at the ends and Sandra stood in the middle I'm guessing Nicole is happy with the move She's back at the NYSE all day and doesn't have to go to the Fox building at 3 in the morning I would also bet Nicole was the reason they went deskless I doubt the table was the ladies' idea They pretty much work whatever the set is

Most stock traders got wise to the BS the biz channels were putting which was losing them money and went online for info. Hence, CNBC's decling ratings, FBN's switch to politics and BBG being a vanity project for Mike, despite losing millions each year.
