Cheaper to settle rather than the info drip out and make them look worse. Then again for $15 million, it looks bad for Fox.

"Behind the scenes, Fox has touted its gender equity practices in recent years. But the New York State Labor Department is still adjudicating Francis’s claim. And the ex-host’s attorney, Kevin Mintzer, told the Washington Post that Francis lodged her claim for “the women of the company who remain behind.”"

What is the point then? Is it all tossing water bottles at each other legally speaking, or this is one of those 'we remember her, but when she left--time to watch something else.'? Curious to know if anyone has any general knowledge.
