More cost cutting to come, as one might expect. |

From what I understand, their bigger local stations such as WFLA, KTLA, WGN and WPIX aren't affected by the changes. |

So what does this mean for viewers who use YouTube TV? WFXR in Roanoke, VA is a Nexstar station. I can still use my antenna to pick up the station. Their antenna is on a mountain a few miles near me. |

Their antenna is on a mountain a few miles near me. It's the station news websites and apps that affected. If you watch via the likes of YouTube TV, Fubo etc that cordcutters use, it's normal, same for the usual cable, satellite platforms and antenna tv. |

WDAF replays newscasts but no longer live. Two hour delay. I forgot the reasoning for this method but WDAF always has great ratings. But after Nexstar took over staff started leaving. Abbey Eden the morning girl left after 13 years. Joined her new husband's company in a different role than him. They also lost Kim Byrnes, Mark Alford, Mike Thompson and the sports people constantly revolving. Fox once owned them but it was one of 9 stations in 2010 sold off to Tribune. All those who left at this station were around years if not decades. They all wanted to do something new or got bored of being on TV. There is a new lady on evenings too. Sounds like some woman there also left. The newscasts like 4pm and 9pm keep changing the female anchor a lot. For a period was Susan Hiland but she left in 2015 to a new job. Station goes back to 1946. It was affiliated with NBC till 1994. Then flipped to Fox. Infamous Harris Faulkner was there in the 90s. 1991 to 1999. In 2000 moved to Minneapolis. |
