This morning it was announced that tonight would be the final 'CBS Overnight News' and tomorrow will start the 'CBS News Roundup'. I hope that this will be something unique, and not just a name change for us insomniacs in the sleepy world of overnight news.

Does this mean that they will be doing a simulcast of their radio show which can be heard via the Audacy app?

From what I saw this morning, it's pretty much the same old thing. Just a name change. Although they showed Shanelle Kaul from a camera position that was further back.
