Does not surprise me one bit.
Viewer habits have changed. Of course, you can easily point to the Nielsen ratings for the reason why the show will be no more.

At least, we can always relive the great episodes on YouTube.

Sad to say, but you may never see any of those five hosts on TV again.
Who’s going to hire them?

Natalie Morales will turn 52 in June, but as for the others--I don't know much about their past career paths.

But you have to figure that her old stomping grounds at 30 Rock with Today are mostly over and done with.
Plus, many of the entertainment shows that dominated the weekdays are mostly gone, all thanks in large part again to social media and especially TMZ.
That's what I was thinking when I first read the announcement.

Here is what The Hollywood Reporter said:

Natalie is already doing 48 Hours and has subbed on the morning news show so she might find a spot with CBS news. :Kool

Not a surprise at all, she's been around a long time and has name recognition. I figure Jerry, Sheryl and Akbar will fade away, too bad cos Akbar seems like someone you'd like to have a few beers with. I hope Amanda turns up somewhere cos like Amy Robach I will miss those legs! :Tasty

This is going to be replaced by another hour of CBS Morning News. I think it will have different anchors.

As mentioned in April, the show will be replaced with what CBS is hoping to tap, "a new daytime drama titled The Gates, which would be the first daytime soap opera to feature a majority Black cast since 1989’s Generations on NBC. Should The Gates earn a series order, it could fill the hour of network time that the end of The Talk will leave open during the day."

Hope that answers your question.

Anyone seen Amanda on her new show on Netflix Live From The Other Side?

No, I don't subscribe to Netflix--but I am sure someone will post some clips via X/Twitter or Instagram who are fans of the show.

I was wrong, Akbar is on the NFL network now.
Have not seen any of the others in a full-time role yet.

Thought it might be good to revisit this prediction.
Akbar did one season on NFL network and then got bounced.
O’Connell hosted a game show that was canceled.
Occasionally you will see Morales filling in on CBS News, but nothing full-time that I can find. (They were likely just letting her do that until her contract ran out)
And I see no evidence that Kloots or Underwood have done anything.

Kloots was co-host of season 1 of Live From The Other Side on Netflix, some psychic medium show, so far there isn't a season 2.
