This move is huge, considering cable viewership continues to decrease, from its' peak in 2011.
Yet through all of this migration to streaming, people have not stuck around as much using Netflix, Peacock, YouTube TV, and Apple TV+. Churning is where subscribers try out a streaming service for a month, or two, or three and cancel out--especially if is a trial service.
Considering also that one-off events are happening at Netflix, I am still surprised that there will be still an audience for MSNBC--considering the fragile state of our nation and specifically with the economy.
