Ten years ago two WDBJ7 employees, Alison Parker and Adam Ward were killed while on air conducting an interview at Smith Mountain Lake near my home in Virginia.

I tried to find footage from WDBJ7, but I'm sure that out of respect for the deceased, all of their videos involving the incident have been taken down. Although there are several independent videos of the tragedy, one with a thumbnail with an image of Kimberly McBroom's reaction as the event occurred which I find disrespectful.
