Post subject: WDBJ7 in Roanoke, Virginia Celebrated 70 Years

WDBJ7, my CBS affiliate, celebrated 70 years of broadcasting last night with a one hour special. I will be sure to upload that if it gets posted to social media. But for now, there are several special videos that have been posted to WDBJ's YouTube page.
This first video is the customary "congratulations" video. I had forgotten that former ABC national correspondent Ann Compton once worked at WDBJ.
The next is a video from former employees. I certainly remember Melanie Moon, Mike Stevens, Joy Sutton, Steve Mason and Hollany Davis.
And last, but not least several well-known weather personalities have graced the halls of WDBJ. Probably the most well known on this forum is Cecily Tynan. Before she became more famous at her current station in Philadelphia, Cecily worked weekends at WDBJ. I also remember Patrick Evans (when he had hair ). And finally, the legend himself, Robin Reed. The man whom the weather center at WDBJ is now named after. And who knew that Robin shares his birthday with the station itself!
