Laura on Monday won the 2025 Awfulies award as best sideline reporter--as voted on by the staff of Awful Announcing, a site about sports media.

From covering the tragedy on Bourbon Street on New Year's Eve 2024 to securing a new long-term contract hosting NFL Live and contributing to the first two days of The Masters golf tournament, what I felt cinched it for her was trying to secure an interview with L.A. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert after their huge win against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on December 8:
