Thought I would do something different on Mother's Day than posting the depressing Nancy Guthrie updates, and the endless wacky/crazy Dianna Russini affair news with the great Eva Pilgrim of Inside Edition appearing on a podcast on April 28.

The pod is about overcoming life's obstacles hosted by a woman where once upon a time worked in the small market--in Allentown, Pennsylvania working on a story for two different networks. Fast forward years later and they both it big arriving at ABC News.

Host and longtime weather meteorologist Raegan Medgie also discussed Eva's upbringing and why in March 2025 was the right time for both Eva and Raegan to walk away. Eva, along with DeMarco Morgan were laid off from GMA3, and Raegan decided to quit doing the weather on April Fool's Day 2025 at ABC7 in New York--no formal goodbye but a lot of bitter feelings during her ride home.
Turns out Eva is quite an excellent storyteller.

Speaking of Raegan, her podcast debuted in fall 2025. During her first 3 episodes--she talked about working in seven different TV stations (how rare is that) and how those early morning wake-ups took over several years of her life). So much that she even doesn't talk about her husband. But she is there, front and center with a cool podcast setup that I would love to have someday.
