Ok...so I went to Walmart...and got a pair of Philips Rabbit Ears that are HDTV. Ran scans on both the DTV and Analog...and got nothing...so...one of 3 things...first...I need to move(LOL) as I am probably not close to any towers...although my mother in law has an HD antenna and she is only just across town...and she gets Boston and NY stations on her antenna...although hers is more expensive I think. I only paid $10 for this one I got. ok...secondly...the antenna isn't strong enough to get a signal....or third...my HD USB tuner just doesnt work with the HD...even though it says DTV...

Also...I found this on the antennaweb.org site...think it would be any good?? Says it receives from 100 to 125 miles...

Let me know...

Connect you walmart special to you livingroom HDTV and see if it works there
Have you tried Windows Media Center if it supports this HD tuner?
Again go here and put in your location for channels distance

I hope to see it working by Easter :Joker

I made a few decent UHF antennas based on the design on this website http://uhfhdtvantenna.blogspot.com/ , minus the foil reflector. I'm close enough to the only VHF station in town so a separate antenna for that was not needed. That design is highly directional, especially with distant stations. Using splitters, I was able to link two of them together, pointed at two cities (one about 50 miles away) and got great reception (had to put them on the second floor to get all channels). Use the matching transformer (as in the pics) to transition to coax cable to limit signal loss.
