I am having a real problem playing a certain type of video. Any video with a ".ts" at the end of it wont play correctly on WMPlayer or VLC Media Player. When playing on the VLC Media player, the video freezes badly, and is very very choppy. My VLC Player updates are up to date - maybe I need to try a different player?

Please help!

Thanks!

I've had these issues before. WMP plays .ts files fine for me, but didn't on my old computer. It might be that your video card needs its driver updated or some certain codec you need to download. Not sure exactly what to do, but those things probably apply.

As much as I hate to admit it, the .ts file problem may be that your system is starting to show it's age. My MacBook is only about three years old and it's starting to choke on some (but not all) of the .ts files I download here. The one workaround is that you can slow down the framerate in VLC, but you'd likely want to mute the audio since the dialogue gets pitched down, too.
