How can I get screenshots for SMPlayer?
I've tried clicking the screenshot button and seeing what folder it was supposed to go to but nothing showed up in the folder. I switched folders and still nothing.

It should go to my documents/my pictures.... if memory serves.

but nothing is showing up anywhere on the system in any folder. I did a search and got nothing for the whole system.

If you're using Windows,It looks like you're computer is set up to hide folders.To check and see if that is so,do the following.
Go to "My Documents"
At the of the page you'll see tools,click on that.
A drop down will appear,click on "Folder Options"
Click on View
You should a folder titled "Hidden Files and Folders"
It will have 2 options
Do not shows hidden files and folders
Show hidden files and folders

To un-hide the the files and folders,check the show hidden files and folders options.

Then click Apply and OK

You should be able to see your files after doing this.

The folders are not the problem. No screenshots from the SMPlayer is going into any of them.
I changed the destination to "desktop" and the screenshots don't show up there either. It's not a folder issue.

If the files and folders are hidden,you wouldn't be able to see the screenshots.
Set it to go too your pictures and see if it shows up.

If a folder isn't visible how can I put a picture there? I can't!
I've tried placing these screenshots into folders that ARE visible and available and nothing shows up. I have even tried getting the images to go to the desktop and still nothing (see below)
