Does anyone use one of these to record and cap in HD? I bought one and I HATE the recording software. It crashes constantly. Does anyone use anything else?

It will crash sometimes, but not all the time. The crashes happen more often if you don't have a graphics card with hardware acceleration (h.264)....not really the Arcsoft software problem. The processor is forced to be used up unless you have an i7 or something. One suggestion is to leave the preview box unchecked if you don't have a graphics card with h.264 decode. Also it's pretty easy to just end the process with task manager and just disconnect/reconnect the usb connection to get the software back up and running in seconds.
