Fotki is really frustrating me.

In album properties, I have it set so that "Anybody" can download the original pictures. However, it still won't let people download the originals. I can't even download the originals myself. Does anyone know what I'm missing here?

Also, does anyone know how to make effective thumbnails from Fotki to post here? Every time I try to do it there is some sort of problem (weird links, thumbnail is blank, etc.)

If anyone has any ideas, thanks.

I honesty know nothing on this but HSF has been using them for a long time effectively. You may want to PM him to see if he can help.

What I know is that if the size of the original photo in the album is smaller than the Photo View Size setting, there will be a link below the photo giving you the option to download the original. Since my caps are 640x480, I set the size setting to 650x650, which shows my images full size and disables the download link. Looks like the setting can be set as high as 1000x1000. If the photo is above that size and the DL link below doesn't appear, then I'm not sure what's going on.

Thumbnails are easier. Go to the photo in your album, hit the Share button above the photo, then hit the More Sharing Options button in the pop-up. Click on the Thumbnail Size that appears in the upper left above the photo, copy the code in the Code For Forums field, and paste. It's an incredibly convoluted process just to get a single linked thumbnail, but it works.
