| Post subject: | Best Device For Capping/Video Clips? |
Hi, everyone, I'd like to start contributing here and start recording some of the cable news shows but I'd like some input as to which device would do that best. I'd be recording off of my cable box. I've looked into the Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR but have read mixed reviews (some rave about it....some pull their hair out trying to get it to work). Beyond that, I'm unaware of another device that would do the job. If anyone is using something better or whatever, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! PS - I don't have any open slots available in my computer (I did look into Hauppauge's line of stuff that you run directly from the chassis. |
