Thinking about getting a Comcast HD recorder and was wondering what it would take to get the HD signal to my laptop to be able to cap in HD. Thanks in advance |

If you want to skip renting Comcast's equipment, here's a third option: CableCard tuner. Ceton, SiliconDust and Hauppauge make USB versions of these tuners. This is the route I've used for the last 3 years because the television signal is going straight to your PC/laptop rather than the "capture" method of a PVR. In other words, excellent picture quality. |
