Hi there,

some time ago I signed up for an own little internet domain with psek.com. They deliver lotsa bang for the buck in my opinion. I want to take advantage of Fotki's offer to port my image gallery to another domain for 'co-branding' as they call it. Fotki's ability to handle other projects, like putting together a well dsigned link page for instance, unfortunately lacks a good portion of what makes their strongest asset, the image gallery, worth to pay for. That is, why I want to try myself on the abilities of a php driven cms like Mambo or it's successor Joomla. Unfortunately I still have no clue of how to handle this rather difficult task. I'm a novice to php, and html is not one of my strengths either.

What do I want to achieve?:

# Change the tamplate of the preconfigured site alltogether. (have a look at what it looks like right now: celebboom.com).

# 'Co-brand' my Fotki galleries and merge them with my new domain.

# Set up a link section of my celebrity links and sites of other interest, plus the ability for visitors to donate their links as well and have them rated.

That's about it for starters. Maybe there is a Mambo/Joomla/php crack amongst you giving a helping hand or even wanting to become part of the project? Any tip is appreciated.
