A recent post [euro videos: natalie langer] had clips on both rapidshare.de and rapidshare.com. I have a rapidshare.com account and I thought [as of some time last year, which was the last time I tried] the two systems had shared accts, but apparently that isn't the case any more. when I tried to download the rapidshare.de clip I got "we found your account but the password was invalid".

Are the two separate now?

Yes they are. It also seems the .de is only allowing Premium users to upload files to their server.

going from one site to another, it looks like the .com is the way to go. More and more people are using .com instead of .de

I have the .com account, use to have .de. With the .com, I can downlowd 100's of files and with the .de, I can only get a few a day

Because of there server size, .com does not have a daily download restriction like .de has. Go with .com.
