The PC tuner has only S input and came with this plug but sees B & W when i use it

It might be the vcr's s-vid out. Does the s-vid connection work in color connected to TV? |

The S side goes to pc and RCA goes to VCR I tried it on Two PC tuners and same result |

Sounds like it might be your source then. You might have to get a new satellite/cable box. Test the s-vid out with another input if you have. Hook it up to a TV if you can and see if it's still B&W. |

Can you mess with the S video settings on your computer? If so it could be a flaw in the xorg.conf file. |

There is nothing wrong with the VCR because the old pc tuner has RCA and S input and works without that plug in color The New tuner has only S and it has fine tuning for SD channels but nothing for S input I also tried that plug to connect the pc to a tv that has only RCA and the pc sees B & W on the TV so it's the plug So can i test the 4 pins in the plug? |
