Giving me the usual headache. Needs WDM drivers for the TV player to work. They never install right.

If anyone can help then thanks.

Try uninstalling the existing drivers for the card, then installing new. When you uninstall (might need to restart) you should get the "found new hardware" prompt. Just install the driver (might need to restart again), and if it worked then it should give you the prompt that the hardware is ready to use.

I get this when I turn the Tv player on:

"Unable to stat TV
The TV player failed to initialize the video.
Check the Windows Device Manager to ensure that the correct video driver has
been installed and is working properly before attempting to restart TV."

Later in diagnosis it wants WDM drivers installed.

well I just uninstalled the program and reinstalled and I installing the driver and it don't help. Got this last time I was installing this and I can't recall how It began working. The found new hardware thing does nothing. It even froze.

I got it installed now Lucky for me that night I finally found a manual on the website. Not to happy with the default software though. My final comment is I aim to use Power VCR once I can buy it in the distant future. For now I'll just use dscaler for caps. I did get to record a clip on dscaler, but it likes to record bigger files. Not very good for me.
