This request has nothing to do with this site, but I'm hoping I can get some help from those of you with some technical skills.

Suddenly today when I try to watch youtube videos, I get a message that says I either don't have javascript running or I don't have the latest version.

I clicked on the link to download the lateset version, and something downloaded and put an icon on my desk top. I clicked it and it said it istalled, but when I go back to youtube, I get the same message.

I searched my computer for the word "java" and there's about 100 files.

Any ideas?

Check your javascript option's under your browsers settings to make sure it's enabled. If you you use firefox it's under tools-->options-->content.

If you're using Internet Explorer then switch to firefox.
