Anyone know of a program that you can use to after you join these files together to convert them to a form where you can burn them (it) into a dvd format so you can watch in on your dvd at home?

I guess in this case the file type would be whatever Donkeed's transport files wind up in.

Also I guess it would be as if not more helpful to know of a program to convert .avis, .rp, .wmv. mpegs, and divx formats to a format where you could put the dvd in and play it in your dvd player and not just computer.

With Nero (or any other DVD bruning programs), you just put the files you want on the DVD and it will convert the files and then burn to a DVD. :Kool

I use Roxio's Easy Media Creator 10 with MyDVD. I think MyDVD is also a standalone program.

It all depends on the original file type....

Cyberlink will get the mpg files too....Roxio Easy Copy just gets wmv or avi

I don't know of any that do mp4 or msvob.avi formats....

If you want it to play on set top DVD player you have to encode it to mpeg-2 with menus. Some newer DVD players handle DivX, WMV, or other types of data files just burned onto a disc.

To make a DVD with menus to play back on any DVD player, you need software like Nero or Roxio MyDVD. They are pretty straight forward so anyone should be able to make DVD's easily. You can even do custom menu's with whatever picture, music, and parts of the movies in the backgrounds.
