Post subject:  NEW RULE!! Avatar or Sig Line GIFs File Size Limit
I am not against GIFs being used in avatars or sig lines but it has been brought to my attention that some of them have been at least 1.5MB in size. This place is accessed by members of all access means. What I mean is that we still have many dial-up users. A 1.5 MB GIF is a pain for our dial-up members.

To ensure that this place can load quickly for everyone, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, no GIF can exceed 500KB! :Kool :cowboy

Mods and Admins are in agreement with this and the Forum rules have have been amended with this requirement. :Kool

Honor system. A couple of Mods are on dial-up so they will know real quick when a page loads slowly. :Kool

I'm gonna limit my caps to 20-25 per page since i don't use album based image hosting.That should heip some what in loading the page faster.Also gonna stop updating and just start a new thread.As for Jeanne Bice avatar,She's staying right where she is.Top left corner and in my heart!!!

Using Thumbnails is not a big deal from a dialup perspective. It is when people use full pics in the post is what can bog some of the dial up'ers down. :Kool
