I wasn't quite sure if I was going to do anything extravagant for an odometer-changing post, but a while ago I was transferring old caps that I had archived on CD-R to an external hard drive, and I started looking through some of the old caps I did long ago, and it hit me... why not do a flashback of my early capping career! When I first got my USB capping device, I actually didn't cap too much of anything at first. My first caps were actually that of Julie Newmar in an episode of The Monkees, and after that I'd randomly cap home shopping babes if they happened to be on. Then boredom set in... you see, I usually get off of work at midnight, and I'm so wired up I have tons of time to kill (I explain this in vaguely more detail in my Morning Sunshine iReport that was eventually broadcast on August 21, 2008, but I digress...) and I usually ended up keeping the television on ESPN watching the same SportsCenter rerun over and over. Watching the same sports highlights and anchor catchphrases eventually got to me, so I started going through the channels to see if there was anything else that was good on, and I end up on Headline News and there's this total hottie on my screen telling me about current events, and I was like... wow! She's a lot more fun to look at than Scott Van Pelt! As it is written, so shall it be, I am now a fan of Robin Meade. I didn't cap her every day at first, but when I realized that this woman wasn't regularly capped on this board, I knew my destiny. The journey began, and here I am. Like I said earlier, I wanted to use this post to take a visual walk down memory lane. As for my first caps of Robin, I'm sure I took more at the time, but as it stands now, this shot taken on November 16, 2005 was my first cap ever uploaded of Robin... ...you can see how I got hooked! I want to thank Pool for his older boards that I always migrated to. I want to thank rocky for apparently being drunk when he asked me to be a mod here. I (strangely) want to thank James7a, because if it wasn't for finding his board on a Yahoo search all those years ago, I wouldn't be here today. But I'm still glad he's gone... I want to thank all the board members here for their support of my caps! I also want to thank the a*holes who posted that my caps were sht... because it made me post even more caps just to spite you! I want to thank the women of HSN, QVC, ShopNBC, and all the news channels for being hot. And I want to give a big thank you to Robin Meade, for being an excellent combination of brains and beauty and my daily source of news! Um... I did mention that she put me on TV a few times, right? And she read an e-mail of mine, too?

Great retrospective. Lots of hotness from over the years. You have fun with all of this and it makes the Robin experience more enjoyable. Plus, you got Robin to talk about you on that tellyvision show of hers, which is the next best thing other than motorboating her luscious rack The only thing missing from the retrospective was some theme music... and someone complaining about the lack of Soledad O'Brien caps..
