Taking a much deserved day off from covering the markets, Liz managed to watch the partial solar eclipse outside her mother's house in Los Angeles without the proper glasses.

In her own words, she later tweeted on Monday afternoon:

"We didn't have glasses & my 86 yr. old mum wanted to see it so Jeff (Kepnes of CNN, her husband) googled how to fashion a contraption to watch #eclipse & boom!"

It was a link from Twitter, but it might be your computer may have different settings.
