This again goes back to the credibility and trust factor that has been spoken about previously. In Michele's case, had she done something similar after a covering a Sunday night game--we would have a field day on Monday morning. Bad optics, especially for the woman involved. As for Coach Vrabel, the Patriots are continuing to stand by him 100 percent. If they keep winning, this scandal will become fodder for a possible 30 For 30 sometime before this decade is out. But she's right, the perception of an NFL reporter is based on honesty, getting your facts right, and trust. Dianna had one of the biggest (outside of Adam Schefter) text rolls of coaches/GM's/other key executives while maintaining a high level of stress and being married with two young boys on top of it. How are they feeling, with Coach Vrabel having gone through counseling? I am sure we will know more. |
