Lets take a break from the national and large city weather babes for a second and go looking for smaller market lovelies.

I'll start by linking to the lovely Lauren Fahrenkrug from Saginaw, MI - WNEM

She is on the twitter and the facebook if you want to go looking. I'll refrain from more details because (1) I don't know the details, (2) I think she is married, and (3) ick perverts.

Lets just say she brightens up my mornings while I am trying to wake up and we'll leave it at that.

There was once another local weather hottie named Janet van de Winkle from WEYI in Flint who was also at a station called WTWO, but I think she quit the biz. Not sure why, I thought she had the skills to go to the top.

I'm pretty sure Mid Michigan doesn't have a monopoly on local weather cuties, so someone else post something.

Kris Allred at WSAV, Savannah Ga.

She used to do the WX in Omaha, at a 4th-place station. Now she's in Savannah with a hair/makeup/clothing budget and she's all that and a bag of chips!

No I wasn't. I was saying "i'll refrain from more details because (1) I don't know the details" is a rather complicated phrase which translated means "i'll refrain from more details because (1) I don't know the details." How someone can get from that sentence that I must have more details means that you either received a large bump on the head at some point in your life, or perhaps you were born that way. Because I don't know the details (again!) and it is wrong to assume, I'll stop there.

Sometimes I'm left scratching my head. Responses to me range from those who basically want me to sneak in the studio and climb under the desk and take pictures, to which I respond ick, and people who suggest that because I just happen to think local newswomen are pretty consider me some sort of sexual degenerate. So why bother posting?

Actually Mid Michigan produces some mighty fine weather babes. A couple that come to mind are Shay Ryan who was also on WNEM she is now on a Fox 5 in the big apple. Also there was this other weather babe who goes by the name of a Ginger Zee. She had her start on WEYI in Mid Michigan. :thankyou

I concur with the previous posters. There are some really attractive women listed.

Since there smaller markets, I'd be curious to see how many of them are standing by the green screen and
broadcasting in their stocking feet.

Caps/pics/videos always appreciated.

I hope I do this correct. This is Samantha Smith (Roberts) she used to do weather in Huntsville, AL. But she moved back home to Virginia. I always thought she was a little hottie and a sweet girl. I apologize if this is done wrong.
