Wide World of Women

For those who don't know, Robin in recent weeks has been asking viewers for iReports of their morning routines as they watch the show. Mine is pretty boring (come home from work or play on the computer or PS2), but she said she doesn't care how boring it is, just send something in, preferably video. The first vid was a guy in his bedroom with the TV behind him and I thought, hell, I can do that! And I did. A week or so later, a producer e-mailed me a few times and I was told that my segment would air on Thursday morning. And at 3:20 AM pacific...

When you couple that with the time that Robin read an e-mail of mine on air once, I now have 13 minutes of fame left!
And two of them were spent with Robin!

"Hi Robin. I really love watching your show. I never miss it. In fact, i build my whole morning around it. You're so pretty. My mom says you and I would make a good couple. We should meet some day and go out for ice cream.. or we could just hang out at my place. I could show you my collection of deer ticks.. You're really pretty..
Oh anyway, I'm just babbling on. Well, this is pretty much what my mornings are like during the week.

1) I wake up, and make myself a nice western omelet with a side of tofu sausage
2) I do the morning crossword, and suduku puzzle, and if I'm feeling adventurous, give the cryptogram a try.
3) then I'll enter the living room, and pour myself a glass of wine
4) I'll light some lavender scented candles around the room
5) settle down and turn on the Robin show.
6) get out some moisturizing lotion...
....

...
....
...
.....
....

<Robin>- "uhhh well I think we're having a problem with our transmission. We'll be right back after these messages"

They also aired my clip during the third and fourth hour of the show, which I have finally got around to uploading...
