OFFER ENDS JULY 18th. That's about 1 week....

Since I stopped using my HDTV indoor antenna a while ago it's just sitting around collecting dust. I'd like to give it away (I'll ship it to you free) to a member here who really wants to do over-the-air ATSC HD/DT caps and videos. You will need to have a PC tv tuner card or dvd recorder with an ATSC input/capability (you can check your product manual/info to know this). If you have a PC tv tuner card you can just look at it and see if there is a jack/connection for it.

I want to give this away to the person who really intends on using it properly... and not somebody who wants to pawn it or ebay it (it's not worth that much now anyway lol!), or to use it to simply watch hd on their PC or tv. I want the person who gets it to actually use it to cap CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC and other local broadcasts they get in HD/DT.

So.... if you have the right tv tuner card or dvd recorder and are in need of an HDTV antenna to do HD.... PM me with your story (include your caps, equipment, or anything you think makes you deserving of this piece of equipment). Thanks! I'm doing this because I want more people to do HD!

I found that I had the best luck with it set like this:

LOL! I'm sure the guitar strings helped improve your signal strength.

EDIT: actually, impala101 has a good point; you'll need to live near an actual city where you can pick up the hdtv signal. if you live on a farm in iowa you might not pick up anything lol! so you'll need to be within (guesstimating) 60 miles of some city/network affiliate that broadcasts HD.
