I didn't see the finale. What happened? They didn't kill her character off, did they?

Maybe she'll land on another sitcom where she can dress hot again.

According to the show's script she basically quit her job as M.E. because she was tired of looking at "dead people". I hope you're right and she shows up elsewhere looking as hot as she did on News Radio ;)
