Honestly, first impression not impressed. I wish Molly got the nom to show full time. NFL network execs have their heads up there @$$, they rather put in someone new that have an existing person fill in.

Why do networks constantly hire from without instead of within? She doesn't seem bad guys but don't worry as an important spot as that show has become don't worry if their ratings drop they'll probably boot her and since Molly is already there maybe they'll actually hire her then.

I'd love to hear what she honestly thinks about that hire though...after filling in all that time and those times when Nicole wasn't there and then get totally passed over...she can't honestly be happy with that can she?

I wonder why she stayed? I'm sure she could get a job elsewhere with all the different even NATIONAL different networks covering sports now. Maybe she's still convinced she could have a shot at it down the line? or maybe she just loves working there?

Anyhow if thats who they hired instead even though I don't hate her count me in the camp who wishes it had been Molly. It'll be interesting to see what happens 3 to 6 months from now when the season is going on and she's actually been trying to host that show while the season is ongoing for awhile.

I wonder what they'll think then and if they'll have to re-evaluate.

The NFL Network is especially bad in that and I spoken out against them a number of times on this here board. When Kara Henderson left to marry the Rams GM, Lindsay Rhoads took over. Well OK, she was the top sub and weekend anchor (Friday and Saturday) for Total Access. However, instead of going with three ladies who actually had experience showing that show (Alex Flanagan had hosted that show on Mondays and Tuesday during the season in I believe in 2010, Michelle Beisner hosted a few times and did a segment on Fridays at a point, and Stacey Dales hosted when she started on the network though unsure if she was a serious candidate) the execs replaced Rhoads with Amber Theoharis out of leftfield (she was covering the Orioles at that time so pun intended) to take Lindsay spot. Also when Amber went on maternity leave, the NFL network brought in Jenn Brown to host for a time. Also you can make a case that NFL AM could have had someone who already in the network but I didn't have a complaint against Nicole. Also Michelle Beisner could have been considered, Kriegel especially would have love that. I think Molly will stay especially if Alex, Stacey, and Michelle all stayed unless she gets a better offer to join another network.

So whats gonna happen to Molly now?? just goes back to being reduced to a fill-in?

Did anyone watch NFL AM with Erin and that other guy? I saw some of it but I couldn't watch more. Unsure what to do now, stop watching Morning Express besides a minute or so, Quick Pitch isn't on this week, ESPN will air the British Open this week, and I don't know where else to turn.

Not impressed with her at all. I guess I would be impressed, slightly, if she wasn't compared to Nicole and Molly. So far it seems like she is trying too hard to fit in with the guys. Nicole and Molly seemed like one of those girls that are one of the guys. Yesterday Erin called Demaryius Thomas, DemaryiusThompson..WTF?
