It's great to check this thread for Aly updates but to dump in CNN vs Fox ratings discussions is stupid. CNN will never compete with FNC in ratings. It's the proverbial comparing apples and oranges. Fox uses the same tactics that the rag magazines use at the checkout to entice viewers. They cater to what society has become and that's not a good thing. So putting blame on any anchor for CNN's ratings is ridiculous. I watch Fox for the babes. If I want real news I'll watch CNN but that's rare because I'd rather watch sports news.

I guess that might explain why it's been valued at ONLY $5 billion.

that's what we just see in usa. since they are in top 3 for major news outlet for world news. since they broadcast in more country's then Fox news and NBC/MSNBC does.

I'm glad Alisyn found another network but is she going to stay once Rupert Murdoch buys Time-Warner CNN's parent company

PS, I predict Camerota has zero impact on CNN's bad ratings and will fail there like many before her.

not that he would sell it. if does buy our time warner he will have to sell it since gov will not let him own both of them at same time.

Well, I've watched CNN maybe half a dozen times since the First Gulf War. My own little protest of their behavior (and CBS's) during my deployment there.
Somebody post caps and if it looks like they're going to show ALISYN and not just her head I'll start watch A LIMITED AMOUNT = ONLY ALISYN.

here the main issue they bring back what would be good time slot for her. since most will not want her be on when there other favorites are on too. what would be best time slot to have then.

here main issue why Fox get more people to watch then CNN. fox more like tabloids. where cnn wants to me more down the middle. since want to see all sides. where fox only follows rep side of story to be more conversational to get people to watch. when you have one news station painting other side most bad thing for this nation. why do people still listen to howard stren when he shock jock. they want to see what bad things he will say and make extreme comments on him and try to make him look bad. but for fox its other way around they watch to see what rep say and judgement call on it. so fox has loyal fans for news stories and for loyal fans that want to see ladies.

Yes it happened . She was with Don Lemon crammed on a 1 person desk and doing a 1 person job together with Lemon. She's a great interviewer though so it didn't seem too awkward.
