First they got rid of the sit down interviews....which has been awhile now. I don't know why they quit doing it all of a sudden. The Lauren Simonetti sit down was one of the best parts of the show.

THAT was bad enough but now when the ladies are in their regular seats doing the regular camera shot
the camera is pulled in WAYYYY to close lately. Seems like I noticed this starting over the last month maybe what's going on there?

Who told them to start shooting them like that and why? Makes no sense...now all we see is knee caps
other than when they show a zoomed out shot from wayyy wayyy backed out looking like its across the
room. Thats totally messed up. Messed up a good substitue appearance from Lea a day or so ago.

Anyhow it has become horrible for legshots and thus i'm about to remove the timer from my dvr.
For those of you who continue to watch i'll check with you guys to see if its ever worth putting back on.

Yes, they decided to take out the sit-down interviews, except for Michael Tammero
I think some of that is because people didn't want to get to the studio so early
They still have the full set shot at the end, except when Ainsley or Heather is filling in for Heather C on F&F
They also have full body stand ups at 5 and 5:30 and individual stand ups during the show, including Lauren's
Fox decided to make F&FF a headline show
But Ainsley and Heather make it worthwhile

If you wanna watch them and continue to watch just because you really like the hosts thats fine. The quality of the shots has gone downhill though.

It's still a good show for caps,but not to make highlight videos of, like I used to do.

And the reason you're not seeing Elizabeth Prann on there, she's on maternity leave.

I was wondering what happend to Prann

At that time of the morning, your enjoyable entertainment, be it content or people is what? That's the best out there.

Huddy on the weekday version only filled in for E.D. on vacations & such way back when.

Rumor was E.D. wasnt to fond of her & she got sent to the LA bureau at which time she ended up hosting Coast To Coast on Sat mornings ( the show which THOSE Bikini shots came from!).

After 9/11 Fox expanded to a weekend F&F. She was host of F&F Weekend with Mike & Julian. Then Mike & Juliet went to Daytime which morphed into the short lived M&J show.

When Mike & Juliet left Aly took her place.

The weekday version was only E.D. to Carlson to Hass.

Seems last week it changed to crappier shots of legs on this show. But Ainsley has or did have Michael Tammero on as a guest to discuss movies each week. Maybe that ended who knows. But I like the show as Lea Gabrielle replaces Ainsley. Shots could be better, but if Michael were on you get them panning out.

Huddy did at one time host the first hour of Fox and Friends between 2004 and the format's end in late 2007. Huddy also filled in for the full show as well. The person sent to LA was Friel, whom after a lot of tryouts and fill-ins as a host of Fox and Friends, she was basically moved to doing entertainment stuff then several periods she went missing as her segments got cut. Huddy also hosted F&F weekends and also was on Dayside after Linda Vester quit Fox News. That lead her to doing M&J: The Morning Show for two years.

The reason E.D. let another woman host the first hour was that she wanted to come later to take care of her kids mornings and also to do some things before work. She negotiated the plan in order for the show to expand to three hours. When she wanted off The show in 2006, Gretchen took over and they kept the format for a whole year before she decided she could take on the extra hour and they abandoned it. By that point, Kiran was gone from Fox News and Friel was not working out in that role so Ainsley took over. But it ended.

P.S. If you were referring to Huddy going to LA prior to 2003, I don't recall it. I started following Fox News and News in general since 2003. Prior to 11 years ago I can't recall the intimate details and who hosted what. Wikipedia says she joined the Fox family in 1998. Well since 2012 she has been anchoring on the Fox in New York City.

Actually, Aly hosted F&FF and was the newsreader for F&F
When Gretchen negotiated her new contract in 2008 the newsreader was discontinued and Gretchen took over the third hour
That moved Aly on to F&FW
The thought always was Gretchen did this to get Aly off the shoe
The big loser in all this was Ainsley, who had just started hosting F&FW
She was banished to just the overnight desk for a while before working her way back into a prominent spot

It has sucked since Kiran was let go.
