umm... Can you elaborate?

It's from a gossip item that NY Daily News ran in 2004, so 12 years ago, when Julie was with WNYW
and was supposed to be the reason the station let her go soon afterward:

Apparently WNYW news reporter Julie Banderas likes to have a little fun after she signs off the air.
And yes, there are pictures — which appear to be taken inside the Fox 5 Live truck. There's one of Banderas (beer in one hand, cigarette in the other) straddling a man in the front seat, their crotches pressed together and her ankles wrapped around his head. The man (identified by one source as a married male colleague) appears to be simulating a sex act.

Then there's the one of her against the instrument panel, with another cigarette, only this time she's holding the beer in her cleavage.
And did you know she can lick her own chest with her unusually long tongue?

A rep for Fox 5, who saw the pictures, told me sternly: "We are looking into it."


There's a few things to keep in mind --
If this ever did happen, the photos have never surfaced. One would think that they would have
by now. (unless there were few copies and all were destroyed) And the supposed story behind it was that they were doing it as a joke of some kind,
not actually having sex, and taking the photos as a goof. Julie was hired by FOX in 2005, and other than
these old references to it, no proof has ever come out. She could have been let go for an
entirely different reason, and someone decided to start a vicious rumor about her...who knows?

BIG difference between that situation and the shot of Kirstin above, is that Kirstin posted the shot
of herself with WB11's knowledge and other reporters there posted similar shots under
the theme "Reporter Truck Yoga Challenge" -- nothing naughty intended (despite what our minds say)

Interesting. Thanks for replying. The story seems plausible- a work happy hour got a little crazy and flirtatious and she posed for some drunken pictures. Doubt the pics show anything too revealing, but I'm sure she's glad they never came out.

So Julie was hired by Fox News after being let go by a local Fox affiliate. I am guessing there is not much to this supposed rumor.
