If Ailes was forced out, looks like plenty of FNC hosts weren’t going to be happy…

Fox News’ ratings-rich prime time lineup and dozens of contributors are reportedly willing to walk out the door in solidarity with embattled CEO Roger Ailes — and against Megyn Kelly.

According to Breitbart News, hosts Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Shepard Smith, Bret Baier, Eric Bolling, Neil Cavuto, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Laura Ingraham, Geraldo Rivera, Juan Williams, Jeanine Pirro, Bo Dietl, Monica Crowley, as well as the “Fox & Friends” hosts, would be agreeable to leave if Ailes is forced out.

In addition, at least 50 Fox News contributors would also be inclined to leave, Breitbart reports.

Chris, if you would READ this thread you would see I mentioned this on Wednesday and immediately dismissed it because Brietbart has NO credibility

If true, that would be a lot of spots to fill.

Breitbart is not a credible source. There's no way in hell all of those people will agree to something that idiotic.

The theory is Trump loses and hires Ailes to start the Trump News Network, and all those people go with Ailes
Problem is Ailes settlement includes a consulting deal through 2018, so that can't happen

It's not just because of the consulting deal. Bloomberg reported that Ailes signed a non-compete agreement. With the platinum parachute he got out of Fox, that's completely expected. The question is how long that non-compete agreement lasts for.

I thought this particular portion of that New York Times article was interesting --

One woman who is still there said that a producer of a show on which she frequently appeared
persuaded her to go on dates with him. When she decided after two uneventful outings that she
had had enough, he ceased to have her on his show, she said.


So whoever they spoke with is still at Fox, used to be a frequent regular
on one show, but has been all but banned from that show since then.
Any ideas on who that might be? And what show?
One of the panel shows like Red Eye, or maybe one of the primetime ones like O'Reilly?
Who's been conspicuously absent as a contributor?
(No, this almost certainly doesn't involve Andrea or The Five, or Outnumbered...they're pretty clear this person is STILL at the network now)

i can see why more people did not come out at time this was reported. they did not want it to get in way of rep and dem picking who will be person they want. also fact people on the show might not want to get in way what fox new's trying to do. if this was not during major election year more people from that station might come out. but as stands now they can not afford to put there job on line with out having other work to fall back on to. you might see more lady's from fox flip on this issue or come later to him. since might cause mess at work. what bad time for this issue to come out.

not when having election year. since your trying to get ratings. also fact if your spending to much time with this mess. since you need send people out where news story and live events where people trying to get people elect them or find story's not to elect them. you can not have your hand in to many pots at one time since one other pots might need all hands on deck to take care of.

I'm pretty sure Gretchen couldn't have cared less how her lawsuit might cause
inconveniences for Ailes and Fox, just because of her timing. In fact, it's entirely possible
she could've filed when she did precisely to screw around with them at a busy time, besides
the other reasons she had.

Sure, it's coming at a bad time for them -- but they're obviously not behind the timing
of it -- Gretchen and her lawyers are.

was not talking about her i am talking about fox news. since they are in pickle now. since have that huge case to mess with and keep eye on. also they got keep eye what going with election to keep eye on too. since you can not watch out for everything what more important for company right now. people in charge now have watch everything they do now. since can not afford more mess to come up. when a company is involved with something like this. they have huge pr problem that need to fix. one you want clean house on this issue and also improve you image since people will want see changes. also fact if some like this happens to company. it leaves sour note in there mouth. so might not look company in same way as use to.
