Anna Kooiman, co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend is leaving the show, and the country. Kooiman and her husband, Australia native Tim Stuckey, are moving to Sydney where Stuckey landed a new job at financial firm Tullet Prebon.

Kooiman, who joined Fox News in 2011, will remain with the network as a freelance correspondent. Kooiman will be replaced by a rotating guest co-hosts until a new co-host is named alongside Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris. Kooiman’s last day is September 5.

She will be a freelance correspondent for Fox News for now.

I wish her well.

I'm totally devastated. I always felt in the back of my mind that something like this could happen once she married a guy who originally lived outside of the U.S. But this hit me like a ton of bricks. I wish her well, and will miss her dearly.

Ditto.

Fox has lost some big talent over the past year or two. They have a deep bench but Anna and her personality was a great fit for the weekend edition of F&F.

She will be very difficult to replace
My first thought is Abby
I just don't think Fox would want to put Sandra on a weekend show

Yeah, for the weekdays if (no jinx) Ainsley Earhardt were to leave then Sandra Smith would fit in well during the week. Abby Huntsman would be a good choice for the weekend.....she brings hosting experience from her days at MSNBC. The only impediment would be that she's relatively new at Fox and there are others who would feel stepped over.

I think it'll be Abby who gets the job.

This SUCKS, though.

I'm guessing until she finds a job in Australia. ;)

Any other names in the hat to take Anna's place?

I vote Juliet Huddy.

Damn, those aren't the two b00bs we wanted to get rid of from FFWknd!!!

In all seriousness, like everyone else here, I wish only the best for Anna as she starts her new life Down Under.

I wish her all the best. Good time to start a revamp or complete change of both bookends.

I don't think it would happen but I'd like to see Kiran Chetry get some consideration.
