The magazine adds this interesting statement: "The company, according to two people familiar with the discussions, has also reached settlement agreements with two other women."

CNN mentioned Andrea Tantaros, but didn't say she was one of the other two women.

I'm surprised that Fox publically apologized to Gretchen, an admission that Ailes and maybe others did at least some of what Gretchen alleged. Usually settlements have the standard no admission of guilt without any further statements.

I have to ask again: where are all the FNC anchors who originally ripped Carlson & defended Ailes?

Kimberly Guilfoyle is the only one who criticized Gretchen
BTW, Gretchen got half of what Ailes did

I wasn't asking where they physically are, I'm asking why we don't hear anything from them now on how wrong they were?

They said they never encountered it
It's possible Ailes didn't hit on every woman he employed

What could they say? The ones at Fox want to keep their jobs so they aren't going to stir the pot for this major embarrassment for the network, especially when it was suggested by Vanity Fair that the Murdoch boys want to put this behind them and move on. The ones who aren't at Fox have nothing to gain by commenting. After Gretchen's win they might be instead spending their time and effort consulting with lawyers about their own lawsuits.

Can't wait to see what happens with Andrea and her lawyer.

Shock and disbelief because Gretchen is someone who worked there and had been an employee of Fox News for 11 years, and they treated her very well in terms of positions—main anchor on Fox and Friends and then her own daytime show and a lot of effort and energy had gone forward to promote her and promote her show and promote her book. Fox News is a very supportive atmosphere, so yeah, people are shocked and in disbelief after their experiences with Roger Ailes and Fox News.

People are very saddened to see something like this about somebody who’s been so powerful about putting women in positions of importance—and again, all the anchors at Fox News have had good experiences, the ones that I have talked to, like I said, were super supportive. Everybody I’ve spoken to, all of them, have said this has never happened to them. So I have super close relationships with the women at Fox News. We’re a team. We support one another, and that’s why I’m coming forward to tell the truth because the truth should matter."

That would great, hanley, but they know they would get Carlsoned to a crappy time slot or at the least shunned by management and the likes of big dogs Hannity and O'Reilly and not considered for promotions in the future. The Murdochs can talk all they want about putting an end to the Ailes-led environment, but Ailes' boys were experts at what they did and of course denial. Things aren't gonna change overnight at FNC.

way i see it. people are afraid to come out say they where wrong. since might be worried about their job being on the line. also if any of these people knew about and did not come forward they might get nailed when everything said and done. so people are keeping quite to keep there job and not make fool out of them self. if they did come out retract they might get looked at to see if where covering something up. best to stay back and say nothing and let company find out truth. since you do make you target as this problem is going down.

Gretchen must have really had the goods on Ailes. $20 mil is more than just a penalty award. I doubt that a jury would ever have gone that high with the award. Fox did not want the evidence She had to ever see the light of day!
