Yes, you read this headline correctly.

Linda's contract with ESPN has one year remaining.
In comments last week to the New York Post, she is already picturing herself doing a myriad of roles somewhere (mainly with her favorite team in the New York Rangers) in the NHL.

But don't get me wrong, I have been a huge Linda Cohn fan since her arrival at ESPN way back in 1992.

After reading this article, just take it for what it's worth--unless if other people here think otherwise:

Possible plus I'm sure she would move back to New York.

Having played goalie in an all male dominated sport like hockey, she is definitely well qualified to talk about it.

With the direction ESPN is heading, it wouldn't shock me if she decides to devote her career to covering the NHL 24/7/365.

At the very least, we still have her on the weekends and periodically with her Twitter posts and nice Instagram images to look at.

i wouldn't be surprised to see Linda covering Hockey full time , it's to bad the NHL network won't crab her because she would bring it instant creditability that they haven't been able to get so far

I'm all in, I'm all for it! Linda Cohn is the one sports anchor I can turn to for NHL news and highlights!
