Noreen Turyn is currently the longest tenured anchor in my market of Roanoke/Lynchburg Virginia. She has been with ABC13 since 1990, starting with the first few years of Good Morning Virginia, and finally becoming the senior nightly anchor.
Here is a video of several dignitaries honoring Noreen's years of service. Some anchors you might recognize from other stations. And one, Mona Kosar-Abdi, who went from being the weekend anchor at WSET, to nationally on ABC News, and finally at the TV show Extra!.
