Seriously, how are you getting virus? I have uptodate Virus software? Can you tell me what is trying to be installed to rectify the problem with the admin?
Can you tell me exactly where this came from as, what sub forum etc? I am running Norton 2006

I have several websites running from my PC so don't take risks! Suggest you check your machines or contact Invision powerboards as they are the hosts!!

Over 3,000 users on same forum can't all be wrong! Never had a single complaint so what exactly is the Forum supposed to be doing???

All I tried to do was show people a forum that delivered direct links to movies which i pay 14 pound a week for (hosting hire)? with no worries of RS accounts or anyone, having to experience download restrictions, I have posted in the European section and seemed to have a good response, as I am capping the same stuff as Some of the posters in there I didnt want to muscle in, I just thought that there would be some on that forum that they could have missed?
Why couldnt you politley private message me and tell me what happened? instead of making me look like I am delibratley out to Sabbotage peoples computers?
If there is a virus coming from there, what type of one is it? I have no experience of one and am from your insinuation, I removed the link as you may have NASA enabled virus protection or something stronger? I have raised the virus issue in the general disscusion on a site with over 3000 members and no body seems to have any problem, I am just baffled? please show me the virus log so I can rectify the problem.
Now I got a whitchhunt that I am a spammer, virus spreader and need banning??
There are subtle ways of doing things, this obviously went over you head.

Did you get the FBI to run the trace or just check the posters IP address? Also could you be so kind as to let me know who you reported it to as I would also like to speak to them.

I used it three times without any problems. It was a great site.

First.....I owe OMG an apology, I did get a red warning when I logged on and it is set to automatically trace where the problem originated.....I think virus was not the proper term to use, my virus scan and firewall sent a red warning and my pc froze up. I'll be the 1st to admit i'm no computer tech guy but when I went to the link this happened to me and also tried to download something. My apologies to OMG for my very uncalled for names I used towards you, I am going to visit the site again if I may and again OMG I am truly sorry for what I called you. Jimbo all I know is the tech guy that put all my stuff in set it up to wan, block and run a trace as to where it "may" have originated, meaning I shouldnt have put it on OMG, it couldve been something planted by a visitor to the site. Like I said, im not a technical pc person and I explained how my Vscan/firewall/spyware thing works and what it tells me. My apologies to all, mostly to OMG, now im going to check it out again if its ok with you all. May I have the url? I truly am sorry to all of you and it wont happen again. Thank you.

I have no idea what everyone is talking about - but then again I have a Mac = no virus's

I used it and downloaded a clip without problems. In My expereience Norton is a total problem and not a fix, I personally dislike it because it tries to manipulate your system to what purpose, who know"s.

You guys were TOO HARSH on OMB with his site. The correct way of going about it would have been asking if anyone had encountered that situation rather than burning his a$$. Something could have happened that he was not aware of. No reason for that crap!

Apologies from me too for jumping straight in. Just annoyed that someone with over 800 posts on a forum gets shot down straight away.
