Hi all ... great forum and thanks for all your work. Just wish I had a way to cap stuff ... however...
My question : -- Is WMP 11 any good ? Is it that much better then WMP 10 ?
Thanks for any advice,
Sarratt

Certainly media players are reaching the point of diminishing returns. The mechanics of playing back a file and ripping to a file are not changing. The only things that are changing are codecs and DRM (Digital Rights Management). WMP already did a decent job of automatically downloading new codecs and would support third-party codecs that were installed, so the only "improvement" I can suspect for v11 is improved DRM support.
If you subscribe to audio/video services that use DRM, it might be worth the download for better compatibility, otherwise, stay with what you have.
